SaudiStandards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) represented by theNational Measurement and Calibration Center has obtained the membership of theAsia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP), following the acceptance of the Centeras an associate member of the Organization.
Thismembership supports SASO's mission in affirming the Kingdom's leadership in allfields, and helps to participate effectively in relevant committees andinternational organizations.
Themembership of the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) allows theparticipation of the SASO's staff in the meetings of the specialized technical committeesof APMP in various areas of measurement and calibration, and participation ininternational comparisons, which will help to raise the scientific andtechnical level of national cadres.
