Coronavirus vaccination centers in three governorates of Saudi Arabia are embarked on providing the pandemic vaccine to citizens and residents alike, the first phase of covering other parts of the continent-like country as soon as possible, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
High-level government officials, headed by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabeeah, Minister of Health, were publicly seen given the free-of-charge vaccine.
Al-Rabeeah announced that the vaccination campaign will be launched at coronavirus vaccine centers in Riyadh, Jeddah and Eastern regions in the first stage.
The Riyadh-based highly-equipped center accommodates more than 550 medial rooms, and each of Jeddah and Dhahran medical centers are ready to receive big numbers in 84 equipped medical rooms, the report said.
The health authorities vowed to announce the opening of other centers throughout the country soon.
