Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced in a statement on Thursday that 1,309 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases to 470,723, including 10,879 active cases, according to the statement of Ministry of Health.

"There are 1,533 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.

It added that 14 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,635.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,022 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 452,209.
