Official Spokesman of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali announced on Sunday that 1,084 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Health revealed in their statement that the daily reported number of infected cases brings the total number to 526,814 confirmed cases, including 11,191 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

"There are 1,403 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.

"1,285 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 507,374 cases. Also, twelve new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 8,249," Dr. Al-Abdulaali added.

"The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that have been administered reached 26,925,604 doses," he concluded.
