Spokesman of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali announced on Sunday that 1,218 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number of the infected cases brings the total number to 483,221 confirmed cases, including 11,190 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

"There are 1,440 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the spokesman of the Ministry of Health announced.

"1,252 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 464,256 cases," Dr. Al-Abdulaali added.

"15 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 7,775,"

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that have been taken stood at 17,208,065 doses, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said.
