Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 1,252 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Health Ministry said on their statement that the daily reported number bring the total number of infected cases to 519,395, including 10,788 active cases.

"There are 1,424 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement added.

It added that 12 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 8,179.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,299 cases have recovered, raising recoveries toll to 500,428.
