Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 1,261 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases to 454,217, including 9,925 active cases, according to the Health Ministry statement.

"There are 1,516 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.

"15 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,408," it added.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,364 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 436,884.

On the other hand, 96,230 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
