Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 1,286 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Health Ministry also said in their statement that the daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases to 462,528, including 10,217 active cases.

"There are 1,553 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement added.

"16 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,519,"

Meanwhile, as many as 982 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 444,792.

On the other hand, 92,227 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
