Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 1,379 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Health Ministry said in their statement that the daily reported number of infected cases brings the total number to 520,774, including 11,136 active cases.

"There are 1,419 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, the statement said," the statement added.

"10 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 8,189,"

Meanwhile, as many as 1,021 cases have recovered, raising recoveries toll to 501,449.
