Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 1,479 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number brings the total number of infected cases to 476,882, including 11,131 active cases, according to the Health Ministry statement.

"There are 1,487 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable,"

"12 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,703," the statement added.

Meanwhile, as many as 920 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 458,048.
