Saudi Arabia reports 154 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 700,000 Applied for Vaccine

Official Spokesman of the Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdulaali announced on Sunday that the number of people who applied for Corona vaccine has reached 700,000, pointing out that the increase in number of applicants reflects the society's awareness.

"154 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom," the Health Ministry spokesman said.

The newly reported number brings the total number to 362,220 cases, including 2,856 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

Of these, there are 391 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

As many as 175 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 353,179, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that nine new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 6,185.
