Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 69 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 48 recoveries have been registered in the Kingdom in the past 24 hours.

"The number of active cases reached 2,359, including 317 critical cases," the Ministry of Health said in their statement.

The statistics showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 546,681, while the recovery tally reached 535,650.

The ministry reported five new deaths, bringing fatalities tally in the Kingdom to 8,672.

The Ministry of Health advised everyone to contact the toll free (937) for consultations and inquiries around the clock, to obtain health information and services.
