Official Spokesman of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali announced on Sunday that 799 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The daily reported number the total number of infected cases to 398,435 confirmed cases, including 8,360 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

"There are 915 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," Al-Abdulaali said.

"548 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 383,321 cases. Also, seven new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 6,754," he added.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that have been administered through more than 590 vaccine centers reached 6,217,487 doses, stressing that the appointments for administering the dose will be more available in the next period, especially for those at the age of 75 years, as they have priority without prior reservation, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said. He added that the total number of the laboratory tests conducted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 15,805,136.
