Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced in a statement on Sunday that 224 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom, bringing the total number to 355,258, including 6,107 active cases undergoing treatment.

"There are 785 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the Saudi health ministry said in their statement.

"19 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 5,780," the statement added.

Meanwhile, as many as 489 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 343,371. On the other hand, 36,558 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
