Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 221 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.
The daily reported number of infected cases brings the total number to 544,225, including 3,174 active cases, according to the Ministry of Health's statement.
"There are 927 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.
"Seven new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 8,539," the statement added.
Meanwhile, as many as 386 cases have recovered, raising recoveries toll to 532,512, said the statement.
