Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) chairman, Abdulhadi Al Mansouri, signed here today an agreement in the field of air transport services between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of Republic of Senegal, which was represented by the Minister of Tourism and Air Transport, Alioune Sarr.

This came during a meeting of the President of GACA, in his office in Jeddah today with the Minister of Tourism and Air Transport of the Republic of Senegal.

During themeeting, they discussed issues of mutual interest and ways to enhancecooperation between the two countries.

Theagreement signed between the two governments included several regulatoryprovisions guaranteeing the rights of the two parties, the pluralism ofappointments, items related to air safety, aviation security, scheduling ofroutes agreed upon in the agreement and other items in the field of cooperationin the air transport service.

It is worthmentioning that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leadership in the field of civilaviation at the international level reflects the policy of the Kingdom inachieving further growth and development in the air transport sector in theKingdom. Furthermore, achieving cooperation with other countries, and thecommitment of safety and security of civil aviation, in addition to providingall the facilitations needed help in the cooperative efforts in serving theguests of Al Rahman.
