Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed al-Jaber held talks in Riyadh on Tuesday; with United Nations special envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths.

He also underscored to the envoy the urgent need for experts to access the eroding Safer oil tanker stranded off the coast of Ras Issa.

Griffiths also hailed Saudi Arabia's role in supporting peace efforts in Yemen; the most recent of which was its introduction of a mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.

Al-Jaber, for his part, also stressed the Kingdom's support for Griffiths' efforts. This is to reach a comprehensive political solution in the war-torn country according to the three references.
