Assistant Minister of Saudi Arabia's Health Ministry Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdulaali announced Sunday that the Kingdom has signed very important contracts with companies developing Coronavirus vaccine, confirming that the registration mechanism for taking the Coronavirus vaccine will be announced soon.

"Saudi Arabia has become among the countries that witness a dramatic decline in Coronavirus spread and infection," Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said in a statement.

"187 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 358,713 cases, including 3,869 active cases receiving necessary medical care," the statement added.

Of these, there are 600 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, he said. As many as 317 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 348,879, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that eleven new deaths have been reported, bringing the death tally to 5,965.
