The Saudi Arabian-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen managed to intercept and shoot down a drone fired by Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias from Amran towards the kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday morning, the coalition spokesman, Turki Al-Maliki said.

Colonel Al-Maliki said that the attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias to launch drones doomed to fail, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

“The Saudi Arabian-led Coalition is taking all operational measures and the best means to deal with these drones to protect civilians and civilian objects,” Al-Maliki added

Colonel Al-Maliki pointed out that the recent repeated terrorist attempts by the Houthi terrorist militias are the result of significant losses in the ranks of its terrorist elements, military matériel and equipment through military operations carried out by the coalition.

“The Houthi militias’ terrorist attempts and media misinformation come to raise the morale of their terrorist elements,” Colonel Al-Maliki continued, stressing that the leadership of the joint forces of the Coalition continue to implement deterrent measures against these terrorist militias to neutralize and destroy these capabilities in strict accordance with international humanitarian law and customary rules.
