King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project forclearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 1611 mines during the third week ofNovember 2019, including 12 antipersonnel mines, 492 anti-tanks, 1092unexploded ordnance and 15 explosive devices.
Since the beginning of the project, 107,006 landmines havebeen dismantled after they had been planted by Houthi militias, in Yemen,claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of children, women and theelderly.
