France will host this week the Al-Ula , Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Wonder" exhibition at the Arab World Institute in Paris, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Friday.

President of the Arab World Institute and former French Minister of Culture, Jacques Lang, said that the exhibition, which will open on Monday, 7 October, for visiting dignitaries, and on Wednesday, 9 October to 19 January 2020 for the public, aims to introducing Al-Ula governorate and its unique beauty and natural and archaeological riches.

Lang added: "in partnership with Saudi Arabia,the exhibition will allow visitors to discover the beauty of Al-Ula region andthe natural diversity that it enjoys, as well as to know its history andcivilizations witnessed over 7,000 years through artistic works, paintings andstatues," praising the efforts of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula (RCU) andthe dynamism that they are dealing with in order to publicize the world.

"Al-Ula, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Wonder", exhibition will be one of theexhibitions that the Institute seeks to publish worldwide through organizedtours, in cooperation with the most famous museums in the world.

Lang also commented: "We are talking here abouta great history, how the years carved this magnificent and magical nature, andhow many important civilizations have also been pursued on this region, which datesback to 7,000 years," praising the programs carried out by the RCUthrough granting scholarship to male and female students in the field ofhospitality, tourism, archeology and others.

Cultural and tourism cooperation

Lang continued: "If you visit Al-Ula you willbe welcomed by Saudi youth, who were sent to France, within the framework ofcultural and tourism cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France to preparethem in the coming years to work in the fields of tourism, hospitality andantiquities".

Lang also praised the close relations between Saudi Arabia and France at all levels, especially in the cultural field, including, but not limited to, the opening of several exhibitions such as Athr Gallery in Jeddah and Cities destroyed by Terrorism Exhibition in Riyadh, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, commending Saudi Arabia's decision to open its doors to tourists from all over the world and launch e-tourist visa.

Chairman of Arab World Institute said that itwill allow tourists to discover the cultural, tourism and historical richnessenjoyed by the Kingdom, and thanked the Saudi leadership of for its keennessand efforts in this regard.

Lang added: "We are witnesses to the realchanges that Saudi Arabia is doing in many areas, including the empowerment ofwomen, and the support and development of national talents in the culturalfields in all its outputs".
