The program aspires to position Saudi products and services as the preferred choice locally and globally among consumers, businesses and investors.

The program comes as part of SAUDI EXPORTS commitment to back the realization of Vision 2030 strategic objectives and support the growth of the non-oil GDP.

“Made in Saudi” is a national program and one of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) initiatives which aims at transforming the Kingdom into a global industrial destination,” Secretary General of the Saudi Export Development Authority Eng. Saleh Al Solami said.

Through Made in Saudi, the Kingdom seeks to create a unified brand identity to promote Saudi products and services within the local and global markets identified as priority to the Kingdom.

The program will further shape the positive image and perception of the Saudi products and services and reinforce pride among Saudi consumers and manufacturers to choose Saudi products, he added.

In addition to its mandate to promote national industries and production across the value chain, the program will play a key role in positioning the Kingdom to be at the forefront of the global industrial landscape through supporting the national efforts of attracting industrial investments, increasing the local content and boost non-oil exports to 50% of the non-oil GDP by 2030.

Planned to launch by Q1 of 2021, “Made in Saudi” will offer compelling membership schemes to member companies providing access to local and global promotional opportunities in partnership with public and private sectors along with helping products that meet the program’s eligibility criteria expand their penetration and outreach in target markets.
