Saudi Arabia’s Food And Drug Authority lifts ban on Yemen's pomegranate import

Saudi Food And Drug Authority (SFDA) announced today that the ban on fresh pomegranate from Republic of Yemen is lifted after the SFDA's requirements are met.

Dr. Hisham Saad Aljadhey, President of SFDA said that an agreement is reached with Ministry of Agriculture in Yemen to facilitate the process of receiving Yemeni produce to the Kingdom and to enhance cooperation opportunities between the two countries in food industry.
