Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health confirms the continuation of its experiments and research to develop an effective vaccine for COVID-19 disease, Al-Yaum newspaper reported.

The paper pointed out that Health Ministry has announced that a clinical trial for a vaccine against the virus will be conducted in the Kingdom, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Saudi Arabia and China.

The paper emphasized that this is taking place with the tremendous support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, which has spared no effort to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has affirmed its standing by the Lebanese people and provide basic aid to them to alleviate their suffering in this exceptional circumstances.

The paper indicated that tragedy situation in Lebanon with the horrific number of dead, missing, and injured victims of the catastrophic explosion requires global cooperation and a firm stance to conduct an impartial and transparent international investigation to uncover the causes of the explosion and those responsible for it. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia has confirmed, at the donors conference yesterday, the right of the brotherly Lebanese people to live in their country in safety and respect.
