Saudi Arabia’s Housing Ministry Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with UN Development Program

The Ministry of Housing and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the Ministry’s endeavor to benefit from international experiences in the areas of housing.

The agreement was co-signed by Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Advisor to the Minister of Housing and General Supervisor of the Ministry’s Agency for Housing Subsidy and Branches and International Cooperation Administration and by UNDP Resident Representative to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Adam Bouloukos.

The UNDP is working in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing in developing a plan of action for the participation of the non-profit sector, as well as a comprehensive review of the current policies, legislations, regulations, and governance of the developmental housing sector.
