Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Environment Signs Contracts to Implement New Projects

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al Fadley, signed today contracts to implement new projects for the Al Shuaiba production system (the first phase) and the Al Shuqaiq production system (the first phase), with a total design capacity of one million cubic meters of desalinated water. The signing ceremony was attended by the Governor of Saline Water Conversion Corporation, Eng. Abdullah Al-Abdul Kareem.

These projects come in implementation of the directives of the government and an affirmation of its constant keenness to provide all necessary services to citizens and residents in all parts of the Kingdom.

The new projects meet the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the areas of reducing energy consumption and preserving the environment.
