Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications holds a meeting to Accelerate Digital Transformation

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), represented by Think Tech initiative held a meeting with Senior Partner of McKinsey Company, Naufal Khan, in the presence of the ministry's officials and experts of digitalization.

During the meeting, different presentations ondigitalization were presented, including a presentation on the means ofaccelerating the digital transformation and benefiting from the outcomes of the4th Industrial Revolution in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The meetingalso revealed a number of promising opportunities in the field ofdigitalization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry's Undersecretary for Technology Industry andDigital Capacities Dr. Ahmed Al-Thenayan confirmed the importance of thesemeetings as they play a major role in supporting cooperative technicalrelations with global experts, adding that this meeting aims to serve SaudiArabia's ICT Strategy 2023.

Saudi Arabia ICT Sector Strategy 2023 aims to develop secured digital infrastructure which will accelerate digital transformation to be in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
