Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health reports 17 new cases of Coronavirus

SaudiArabia's Ministry of Health on Friday reported 17 new cases of the NovelCoronavirus (Covid 19).

Theministry explained that the first case of a citizen who was in contact with apreviously reported case of infection. He is quarantined in a health facilityin Riyadh. The second case of an expatriate coming from Portugal via Turkey. Heis quarantined in a health facility in Riyadh.

TheMinistry of Health said that the third case of a citizen coming from Iran viathe Sultanate of Oman, and she is currently quarantined in a health facility inAl-Ahsa. The fourth case of a citizen coming from Turkey via Lebanon, where shespent 5 days in Lebanon, and had symptoms from the night she arrived inLebanon, after spending 6 days before her in Turkey, and she is quarantined ina health facility in the city of Jeddah.

TheMinistry indicated that the fifth and sixth cases are two Saudi women comingfrom Iraq, who are quarantined in the Qatif governorate, and are withoutsymptoms.

Theministry added that there are 11 new cases of Egyptian nationality, they are inquarantine in Makkah, and they have no symptoms, and they are from the samegroup, in contact with the Egyptian visitor, which was announced during thepast days.It stated that with the addition of the 17 newcases of infection, the total number of registered cases of the NovelCoronavirus in the Kingdom is 62 cases.
