Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs hasannounced that the first edition of the Municipal Investment Forum "Forus 2020"will be launched during the period from 24 to 26 February, 2020 at RiyadhInternational Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and RuralAffairs for Planning and Programs, Eng. Khaled Aldegaither, stated that thisforum aims to expand competitors segment on investment opportunities beingprovided by the kingdom's municipalities, adding that the forum will be a newplatform to connect with investors and provide the private sector withinformation on initiatives which aim to develop investment in municipalitiessector in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Eng. Aldegaither also said that the forum will include 28workshops with the participation of 63 speakers to present the role ofmunicipality's investment in developing cities and to shed light on theeffective method that will increase the contribution of the municipality'sinvestment to the development of cities.
The forum will also include an exhibition where thekingdom's municipalities will present more than 5000 different investmentopportunities, which will increase the quality of life in Saudi Arabia's citiesand achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
It is worth noting that the ministry has previously launchedthe unified electronic platform for investment opportunities of municipalsector "Forus" in April, 2018, which aims to expand competitors segment oninvestment opportunities in Municipalities.
