Saudi Arabia's Red Crescent Reinforces its Fleet with 119 Emergency Teams to Serve Pilgrims

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has allocated more than 119 advanced rescue teams covering the areas of Makkah, the Grand Holy Mosque and Holy Sites. The advanced ambulances are one of the most important pillars of the Saudi Red Crescent's emergency work system during the Hajj season within the framework of the Authority's intensive preparations plan every year aims to provide the best emergency services to pilgrims.

The advanced emergency care squads include 119 teams, including 12 in Arafat and Muzdalifa, 28 in Makkah, 30 in Mina and 39 in the Grand Holy Mosque, as well as a motorcycle team of 38 specialists using 16 motorcycles to reach quickly in areas of high mobility and specifically in the central area of the Holy Mosque.
