The Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahiya Al-Mouallemi, appealed to the Myanmar's civil leadership to abide by its political responsibility towards minorities, as well as to support its people by embracing all its citizens without discrimination or favor.
This was stated in the Kingdom speech delivered by Al-Mouallemi before the Third Committee on item (70 C) Promotion and Protection of Human Rights: (Human Rights Situations and Reports of Special Rapporteurs and Special Representatives) Draft resolution on the situation of human rights in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
