Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
During the meeting, the US Secretary of State stressed his country’s condemnation of the sabotage attacks on Saudi Aramco infrastructure in Abqaiq and Khurais, which Iran bears responsibility for, and his support for the steps taken by the Kingdom by inviting international experts to investigate the source of the attack.
The US Secretary of State expressed US support for the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of these criminal acts, expressing appreciation for the wisdom of the Saudi leadership and its keenness on the security and stability of the region.
For his part, HRH the Crown Prince, during the meeting, stressed that these sabotage attacks were aimed at destabilizing the region’s security and damaging the global energy supply and the global economy.
The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Minister of Defense, and other officials.
