Saudi defenses intercept two drones fired by Houthi militia

Saudi defenses on Saturday intercepted and destroyed two drones fired by Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushayt in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Yemen, Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen said.

the Coalition to Support legitimacy in Yemen, announced last Thursday that it intercepted and shot down two drones, fired by the Houthi militia from Amran province towards Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the coalition spokesman, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki said that the coalition forces managed to intercept and shoot down two drones fired by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Amran province towards Khamis Mushayt.

The two drones were fired by Houthi terrorist militias on Khamis Mushayt, southern Saudi Arabia.

The Coalition has long maintained that Houthi militias are attempting to target civilian installations and civilian objects in miserable and repeated attempts, without achieving any of their irresponsible targets and hostilities as these drones are always detected and dropped, confirming the legitimate right of the Kingdom to take and implement appropriate deterrent measures to deal with such hostilities in line with the international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
