Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense meets Singaporean Defense Minister

Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense, met Wednesday April 24th with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu and Singaporean Defense Minister Dr. Ng Eng Hen on the sidelines of Eighth Moscow Conference on International Security.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the countries, the emphasis on strategic partnerships in the fields of defense and security cooperation, opportunities for developing them in various fields, and latest developments in the region.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Minister of Defense Mohammed AlAyesh, Military Advisor to Minister of Defense Major General Engineer Talal Al-Otaibi, Military Attaché to the Russian Federation Brigadier Mohammed AlMutairi and a number of senior officials of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Saudi minister also met with First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ikram-ul-Haq as they discussed existing military cooperation between the two sisterly countries, ways to strengthen it, and joint efforts in combating extremism and terrorism.
