Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Japan celebrated today the 89th National Day of the Kingdom in the presence of Senate Speaker Akiko Santo and Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono.

In his speech, Saudi Ambassador to Japan Nayef bin Marzouq Al-Fahadi conveyed his greetings and congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and the people of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the 89th National Day.

He appreciated the attendance of the attendees in this occasion, praising the distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan.

For his part, Japanese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Keisuke Suzuki expressed his congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on this national occasion and reviewed the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.

He said the relationship with the Middle East is important to Japan, especially Saudi Arabia, the leader of Arab and Islamic countries, the president of the G20 2020, and Japan's most important friend.
