Ministerof Education Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh and his Emirates' counterpartHussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, co-headed here today, the third meeting of theIntegrative Human Development Committee that emanated from the Saudi-Emirates'Coordination Council.
Atthe beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Al-Sheikhwelcomed the UAE Minister of Education and his accompanying delegation,stressing the depth of the brotherly and historical ties established betweenthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which reflect thedetermination of the leaderships in the two brotherly countries to strengthenthem, in all fields, noting that the Coordination Council of the Saudi-Emiratesis co-chaired by HRH Crown Prince and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, issteadfastly stepping towards integration and joint coordination to serve theinterests and the future of the two countries their brotherly peoples.
AlAl-Sheikh added that the meeting reviewed the interim achievements of the HumanDevelopment Committee in six fields: education, health, sports, culture, youthand space), explaining that these achievements began with the signing ofagreements between a number of Saudi and Emirates' universities, agreementswithin the initiative of the digital education system, and in the field ofvocational and technical training between the two countries, in addition to theagreements signed here today in the media and health fields.
Heclarified that the meeting completes following up the progress of work in theapproved initiatives to ensure their implementation, setting solutions to thechallenges facing them and submitting recommendations and reports to theExecutive Committee of the Council.
