Saudi Federation of Automobiles and Motorcycles Launches Third Phase of Al-Ula-NEOM Rally

The third stage of the Ula-Neum Rally, 231-kmjourney from Al-Ula to NEOM, started today from Abu Qazzaz and ends inAl-Amoud.

The second phase of the rally comes as Saudidriver Yasser bin Saeedan (Mini) leads the race and Yazeed Al Rajhi comes insecond place. The UAE driver Sheikh Khalid bin Faisal Al Qasimi (Peugeot) comesin the third place while Fernando Alonso (Toyota) remains fourth in the overallstandings.

Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of Saudi Federation of Automobiles and Motorcycles, told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the diversity of the areas in the rally, in all its stages, adds another dimension to the competition, in addition to providing activities for the people and residents of the areas undergoing it, and is a preparation for International Dakar Rally to be held in early 2020.
