Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has said that Saudi Arabia remains steadfast; in achieving comprehensive peace in the Middle East.

In detail Prince Faisal visited on Wednesday Polish President Andrzej Duda in the capital Warsaw.

Discussions also focused on economic cooperation and bilateral relations.

"We discussed regional challenges; mainly Iran's aggression that threatens world stability," said Prince Faisal.

In addition he accused Iran of backing terrorist militias; including Yemen's Houthis that target civilians in the Kingdom.

He said in a press conference that the Kingdom remains steadfast in achieving peace in the Middle East; stressing that comprehensive peace remains a "strategic objective."

On the crisis in Yemen, the Saudi FM said that the Kingdom and Poland agree on the need for a political solution to the country's crisis.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also met on Wednesday with his Polish counterpart, Zbigniew Rau, and the speakers of the Sejm (lower house of parliament) and Senate, Elzbieta Witek and Tomasz Grodzki.
