The Ministry of Healthannounced that every traveler who came to the Kingdom from the date of March13, 2020 onwards must remain in the home quarantine and will be granted medicalleave equivalent to the duration of his/her quarantine.

The Ministry of Healthhas identified other countries from which the arrivals must remain in the homequarantine, and they will be given medical leave on certain dates, as theMinistry has determined the names of these countries and the dates via aninfographic that was published in its account on Twitter, as the following:

February 28 andonwards for those coming from China, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Turkey,Singapore, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.

March 8 and onwardsfor those coming from France, Spain, Indonesia, Switzerland, and Germany.

March 11 and onwardsfor those coming from the UK, Austria, Denmark, the US, Netherlands, Norway,and Sweden.

The Ministry indicatedthat they can obtain the medical leave through the Sehaty App, throughthe link: http://onelink.to/yjc3nj, explaining that it is possible to enter theSehaty application and click on the sick leave option, as the applicationinterface will display the details of the sick leave from, its duration, theHealth facility where the examination was and the name of the doctor etc., thenclick on the share icon at the bottom of the page and choose the applicationyou want share through or the option to print and review the medical leave.

These precautions comein continuation of the efforts made to deal with the novel coronavirus,and in continuation of the preventive measures applied in order to preserve thehealth and safety of all members of society and to limit and prevent the spreadof the virus.

The Ministry of Healthcalled on everyone to communicate with Health Service Center 937 for anyinquiries about the virus, stressing that information is to be taken fromofficial sources.
