Saudi Arabia's Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khirayef, confirmed that the interest of the Saudi prudent leadership to support the economic diversification, enhance non-oil revenues and expand the industry-based economic base as a strategic alternative, Saudi Press agency reported on Thursday.

This came during the minister's speech at an honoring ceremony of sponsors of the industry women conference, organized by the Saudi Commission for Industrial Cities and Technological Areas, aiming to empower women in the industrial sector under the logo "for an inclusive and sustainable industrial economy".

"The industrial sector offers qualitative investment opportunities in a number of activities, enabling women to invest in this sector as it offered more than 39,000 job opportunities, a rate of 37% of nationalization of jobs." The Minister said.
