Saudi Red Crescent Authority Praises Volunteers numbers Participate in Humanitarian Aid

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) celebrates in all its branches in the regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia “The International Volunteer Day” which falls on December 5th, during which different human and awareness initiatives are launched, along with honoring outstanding volunteers in the authority.

On this occasion, SRCA President Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qasem has expressed his pride to have 20,000 volunteers working with the authority and contributing to different initiatives to invest their time, referring to different initiatives launched by the authority like ” Friday is Volunteer Day ” and the volunteers efforts to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers in Hajj and Umrah seasons.

Dr. Al-Qasem has also referred to the witnessed increase in the voluntary sector in the authority, as voluntary participations and events reached 1500 in 2019 with more than 250,000 voluntary hours.
