Saudi security forces arrests Terror Cell that got trained in Iran

Saudi security forces announced on Monday that it busted a terrorist cell that received military and field training by Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).

The spokesman for the presidency of state security; said in a statement on state media that three of those arrested got training in Iran.

Cell members "received military and field training, including on how to make explosives; inside Revolutionary Guards sites in Iran" for several weeks in late 2017, he also said.

The statement also said weapons and explosives confiscated at two locations, a house and a farm in the Kingdom.

Ten suspects also arrested in a raid by security forces, with three having received training in Iran.

The spokesman also said their identities will remain hidden at the moment to maintain the confidentiality of the investigations.

Authorities are probing the detainees to uncover more details about the cell and their accomplices, inside Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The Saudi presidency of state security vowed that it will forge ahead with determination and firmness in confronting such criminal plots and everyone who deigns to violate the Kingdom's security and stability.
