The historical and strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and United States of America have made great progress in many various fields, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial.
In light of these successful and distinguished relations between the two countries, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and the Senior Advisor to the U.S. President, Jared Kushner, and his accompanying delegation have held a meeting in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The paper further said that during the meeting, the two sides discussed the partnership between the two friendly countries and the importance of strengthening it in all fields in order to achieve security and stability in the region and strengthen the international peace and security.
The paper concluded by saying that these steps have affirmed the convergent views of the two countries towards various issues such as the need to resume Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations to achieve fair and lasting peace, in addition to their joint positions rejecting the Iranian threats to the stability and security of the region and its support to its terrorist proxies.
