Darah extends the period for Saudi Wikipedians Marathon in Australia

A new initiative to enrich the Arabic content in Wikipedia in Science and Civilization Marathon supported by King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has been extended to the 10th of September as the number of competitors rises at the marathon currently being held in Canberra, Australia in cooperation with Saudi Cultural Mission in Australia.

Darah represented in Saudi Digital History Center, WikiDawn Initiative and Saudi Wikipedian Initiative aims at providing an ideal model for educational and scientific bodies in the Kingdom to adopt similar initiatives that support these national efforts and plug the knowledge gap in all scientific fields in addition to highlighting Muslim contribution to sciences and technologies in all times.

Two under graduate Saudi students have been already awarded by Wiki administrators as ( Autoreview Users) for their trustability after editing 170 articles presented by 19 competitors in the Marathon.
