King Fahd Causeway set to reopen after Eid Al-Adha

On the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII2019), a contract of SAR11bn Saudi-Bahrain causeway was signed between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The contract for the transitional phase of the Saudi-Bahraincauseway between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain was signed on Tuesday on thesidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII2019) in its thirdsession in Riyadh.

While, earlier information said that the contract will be withthree international consulting companies: financial, technical and legal in thepresence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Fahd Causeway, Mr.Ahmed Al-Haqbani, Chairman of the Public Transport Authority, Rumaih Al-Rumaih,the Minister of Transport and Communications, Eng. Kamal Bin Ahmed, the CEO ofKing Fahd Causeway, Eng. Emad Al-Muhaisen, and representative of the consortiumof consulting firms.

The third round of the FII2019, which will run until October 31, was launched this morning in the Saudi capital, Riyadh under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz and the chairmanship of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
