Tanzania's Mufti Praises defensive Measures Taken by Saudi Arabia to face Coronavirus

The Mufti of Tanzania who is also President of the High Council for Islamic Affairs in Tanzania, Sheikh Abubakar Zubeiry bin Ally, has praised precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect the visitors of the Holy Mosques and prevent the spread of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In a statement issued by the Council and sent to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, he confirmed that these measures are religious obligations. He also added that these measures come from the keenness of Kingdom’s government to keep the security and stability of the Two Holy Mosques to save lives from this virus.
