The road leading to Makkah from Jeddah Named After Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region, has approved the proposal put forward by the Holy Makkah Municipality to name the road leading to Makkah from Jeddah after His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, based on the views of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.

This comes in recognition of great and distinguished efforts made by HRH Crown Prince to promote the process of development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It also comes to appreciate HRH Crown Prince's efforts in serving Islam and the care being provided for pilgrims and Umrah performers.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz road is one of the most important and vital roads in Makkah from the west side, as the road extends from Al-Shemaysi checkpoint to the Grand Holy Mosque for 23 km through Makkah Gate and the intersection of MakkahJeddah Highway with the Fourth Ring Road. Along the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road, several projects are being supervised by the Holy Makkah Municipality, a number of investment sites and housing projects in Makkah.
