Arabian national teams Tunisia and Algeria have booked their places in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Ghana and Guinea respectively.
Algeria smashed minor side Guinea 3-0 in the knockout stage of the tournament while Tunisia defeated Ghana 5-4 on penalty kicks after the game’s full and extra time finished with 1-1 draw.
Tunisia will face Madagascar in the African tournament’s quarterfinals on Thursday, while Algeria will face a tough test against Ivory Coast in the same round also on Thursday.
Senegal are scheduled to face Benin on Wednesday as Nigeria will complete the quarterfinals games when the face South Africa in the same day.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations that takes place in Egypt will be finished on 19 July.
