United ArabEmirates and Bahrain have strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried outby the Iran-backed Houthi militias on a mosque in Ma'rib Governorate, Yemen,and resulted in the death and injury of tens of people, expressing sincerecondolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a speedyrecovery.
In astatement, the Bahraini Foreign Affairs Ministry affirmed that such terroristacts reflect the determination of the Houthi militias to continue the violenceand terrorism, and to hinder the efforts aimed at reaching a political solutionthat preserves the unity and security of Yemen and fulfils the aspiration ofthe Yemeni people for peace, stability and prosperity.
Meanwhile, theUAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed that theUAE expressed its strong denunciation of these criminal acts, and its permanentrejection of all forms of violence that aim to destabilize security andstability, and are incompatible with religious and human values and principles.
The UAEMinistry called upon the international community to unite to confrontterrorism, whatever its source, because it undermines the chances of peace,stability and security, expressing its condolences and sympathy to the familiesof victims.
