UAE, Bahrain Condemns Terrorist Attack on a Mosque in Yemen

United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militias on a mosque in Ma’rib Governorate, Yemen, and resulted in the death and injury of tens of people, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

In a statement, the Bahraini Foreign Affairs Ministry affirmed that such terrorist acts reflect the determination of the Houthi militias to continue the violence and terrorism, and to hinder the efforts aimed at reaching a political solution that preserves the unity and security of Yemen and fulfils the aspiration of the Yemeni people for peace, stability and prosperity.

Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed that the UAE expressed its strong denunciation of these criminal acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence that aim to destabilize security and stability, and are incompatible with religious and human values and principles.

The UAE Ministry called upon the international community to unite to confront terrorism, whatever its source, because it undermines the chances of peace, stability and security, expressing its condolences and sympathy to the families of victims.
