UAE, Bahrain Strongly Condemn Houthi Attempts to attack Saudi Arabia

The United Arab Emirates has expressed its condemnation of the attempts of the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia to target cities of Riyadh and Jazan with ballistic missiles that Saudi Air Defence was able to intercept and destroy.

In a statement issued by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of these terrorist attacks against civilians, its standing with the Kingdom against every threat to its security and stability, and its support for all the Kingdom’s measures to preserve its security and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.

The statement affirmed that the security of UAE is indivisible part of the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that any threat or risk facing the Kingdom is a threat to the security and stability system in the UAE, stressing that this attack not only targets the Kingdom but also the unity and solidarity of the world in these difficult circumstances in which it faces the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Bahrain has strongly condemned the firing of ballistic missiles by the Iran-backed Houthi militias against Riyadh and Jazan in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the vigilance of the Royal Saudi Air Force in intercepting and destroying the missiles and denounced the terrorist act that reflects the insistence of Houthi militias to undermine the security of Saudi Arabia and the region.

The ministry stressed Bahrain’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia, affirming its support to all measures taken by Saudi the Kingdom to preserve the safety and security of all citizens and residents on its territory.
